1. Our Samaritans : Jesus went to Samaria. He took the risk of being uncomfortable to relate to people with
whom he did not normally have relations. Where are our Samaritans? With what groups of people are we
uncomfortable? How might we build a relationship?
2. Breaking the Rules : Jesus broke the rules going to Samaria and relating to a Samaritan woman. With what
“rules” did we grow up, that God is now calling us to break to be God’s hands and feet, in a broken world?
3. Getting Practical : How can we be bearers of truth and reconciliation, confront bigotry and racism? What are
some concrete things we can do personally and as a church?
