WE WENT ORANGE!
Your children will love it here because New Life is a place where children are important (which means that you will love it too!). In the Fall of 2013, we adopted a new and engaging curriculum entitled “ORANGE, a strategy to partner with our families in the teaching of the Christian faith to their children.” This program covers children from the age of three. There is also a NURSERY provided for the very youngest members of our church family. When they reach the age of three the program groups children by age into three different classes:
FIRST LOOK: (Three years of age through Kindergarten):
Week by week the hearts of your preschoolers will be incited with wonder as they learn. “I love it, this is my church Mommie.”
252 BASICS: (1st grade through 5th grade):
In these early years your children will embark on a journey of discovery. Their identity will be shaped as the truths of the gospel are planted in their hearts.
XP3: (6th – 8th grade):
Your middle schoolers will have their passions fueled as they learn what it is to to pursue an authentic relationship with our creator.
See us at the check-in table as you enter the church! All children welcome!
Wondering what is “Orange”?…
Orange is a path, a strategy with the intent to return to that glimmering, that passion, and to rouse it in the next generation. You can find the Orange Strategy in the color: combining the strength of two—red and yellow—for the brilliance of another, Orange.
So, an Orange thinker asks, “What if church leaders and parents synchronized their efforts to fuel wonder, discovery and passion in the next generation?” By combining the critical influences of the light of the church (yellow) and the love of the family (red) the Orange Strategy shows a generation who God is more effectively than either could alone.
